What we believe

  • THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and is the infallible word of God.  It is therefore the ultimate authority and guide for life.
    (2 Tim 3:16, John 8:31, Matt 24:35)

  • GOD

We believe in ONE Triune God eternally existent in three persons; namely, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt: 28:19, 1 John 5:7, Deut 6:4) Man’s Fall - Man’s Redemption We believe man is a created being made in the image of God.  Through the first man, Adam, disobedience and sin entered the world and because of this, every man has a sin nature leaving him separated from God. However, through the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ on Calvary man’s sins were completely and totally paid.  Now all of mankind can receive God’s forgiveness and life through God’s mercy and the grace of Jesus Christ.  This gift is known as Salvation and cannot be earned, but instead it must be received by faith as a gift.

    (Romans 3:23, Romans 5:19, John 3:5, 3:36, Eph. 2:8)

  • Jesus Christ and the New Birth

We believe for man to come to God he must first repent (turn from known sin) and receive Jesus Christ by faith as personal Lord and Savior whereby he becomes a new man (2 Cor 5:17).  We believe Jesus is God’s only begotten son, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to a virgin.  He lived a completely sinless life so as to redeem mankind back to fellowship with God.

    (Matt 1:18-25; Isa 7:14; Isa 9:6)

  • Water Baptism & Communion

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion for believers in Jesus Christ as Savior (Matt 3:16-17, Rom 6:4).  Water Baptism is a direct command of Jesus Christ our Lord, and is to be enacted after one is born again.  This divine ordinance pictures the oneness with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.  Communion We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the New Covenant.  (1 Cor 11:23-26)

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is distinct from the new birth.  With it comes the endowment of power for life and christian service and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.  This gift is available to every believer and is evidenced by the initial sign of speaking in an “unlearned language”.
    ( Mark 16:17-18,Acts 1:4-8; Acts 8:14-18,Acts 19:2, 1 Cor 12:1-3)

  • Divine Healing

We believe that deliverance from sickness and disease is provided for in the atonement of (the shed blood of Jesus,) Jesus shed blood and is the privilege of all believers.
    ( Mark 16:17-18,Isa 53:4-5; Matt 8:17, 3 John 2)

  • Resurrection of the Dead and the Return of

    Jesus Christ

We believe in the blessed hope, the imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture the church before the seven year tribulation of judgment begins upon the earth.  When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first and those that are alive in Christ on the earth will be “caught up” – raptured - with them together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  All believers will receive a resurrected, glorified body at the time of His return.

    (1 Thes 4:16-17, 1 Cor 15:51-54, Rev 3:10)

  • We Stand With Israel

We have a special calling to Host regular trips to Israel.  We also are called to support and give financially to the Salvation of the Jewish people based on Romans 1:16.  We stand with Israel because all other nations of the world were created by man’s actions, but Israel was created by an act of God.  Based on numerous Scriptures including Genesis and Romans 9,10,11 and 15, we believe Israel has a right to their land because they have an eternal Covenant with God through Abraham and his seed.  We debunk the theory that the church has replaced Israel (replacement theology) in its promises instead we believe in the One New Man spoken of in Ephesians 2:14-15.

  • Perfecting Holiness

We believe God’s word teaches believers to advance steadily toward spiritual maturity in personal holiness of heart and life and in separation from the world, a process that continues until Christ comes and we become fully “as He is”.

    (Heb 5:13-14, 2 Peter 1:5-11, 3:18 1 John 3:2)

  • Satan

We believe that Satan is a fallen Angel, that is the god of this world. We believe Jesus Christ defeated him upon the cross, triumphing over all of his works.  Those in Christ also have authority over sin, temptation and all of his power.
    (Mark 16:17-18, Isa 14:12-15, 1 John 3:8 ,Col 2:15, Luke 11: 17-19, Rom 6:14, 2 Cor 4:4)
